From maritime touches that honor Deering’s passion for exploration to festive scenes celebrating South Florida’s coastal beauty, Tides and Tidings blends timeless holiday traditions with the enchantment of the sea.\nAt the heart of the theme is a celebration of conservation and connection to the environment — values championed by Charles Deering and carried forward through the Estate’s ongoing preservation efforts today. Like the tides themselves, the season reminds us of the importance of protecting the treasured ecosystems and cultural landscapes that make this place so special.\nWarm, whimsical, and inspired by the coast, “Tides and Tidings” invites guests to celebrate the holidays where history, conservation, and the magic of the ocean meet.\nUnder the creative direction of the Deering Estate, in collaboration with the Deering Estate Foundation, 100 Ladies of Deering and volunteers, the Estate invites guests to celebrate the holidays where history, conservation, and the magic of the ocean meet!\n\nRichmond Cottage: Designer spaces will be announced soon! \n\n\nDining Room:\nKitchen:\nBreakfast Room:\nGarden Room:\nScholar Room:\nFilm Room:\nChildren’s Room:\nStairway Railings:\nHotel Room with Bathroom:\nArcheology/Orientation Room:\nParanormal Room:\nFront Porch:\nBack Porch:\n\n\n\nThe Historic Holiday Decor will be on display daily Friday, Nov. 27, 2026 – Tuesday, January 6, 2027 (10 AM – 5 PM; Gates close at 4 PM). Deering Estate is closed on Christmas Day.\nThe Stone House is closed to the public for renovation and restoration. These efforts will help preserve the building’s unique heritage & architectural facets. While the work is underway, the rest of the Estate remains OPEN for exploration.\n\nCOST: Included with General Admission, $18 for adults (ages 15+) and $10 for children (ages 4-14), plus tax. Admission is free for Deering Estate Foundation Members and children under 4 years old. Non-Members can choose their date of visit and purchase General Admission tickets online. (Members do not need to reserve to view exhibit; please show your membership card & ID at the Ticket Booth on the day of your visit, 10am-4pm).
