DESCRIPTION:The “Moonlight & Music” Valentine’s Day Concert at the Deering Estate offers couples and friends the opportunity to celebrate their love at an outdoor concert under the stars. Guests can enjoy the sounds of this year’s featured artists – TBD!\nThe concert starts at 8 p.m. There are five entry times to choose from when purchasing tickets: 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., & 7:30 p.m. Please arrive between the time listed on your ticket and 30 minutes after. (Example: If your ticket is for 5:30 p.m. you may enter between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.).\nGuests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs and small picnic baskets. Please note that the following items are not permitted: pets, large coolers, open flames/candles, balloons and pop-up tents. Please note that the Museums are closed during this event. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Main Gate. Tickets are non-refundable, rain or shine. \nDeering Estate picnic blankets & flashlight keychains will be available for purchase at the Info Booth.\nAbout the artists: \nInformation to come!\nGeneral Admission\nGeneral admission open seating is available on the front lawn, in front of the two Historic House Museums, in the Royal Palm Grove and on the Boat Basin Jetties. General admission tickets are $70 per person, plus tax.\nWhile this concert is not designed for children entertainment, they are welcome to attend with a paid ticket. Children ages 3 and under do not require a ticket.\nGeneral Admission (Deering Estate Foundation Members)\nDeering Estate Foundation Members receive a 10% discount on general admission tickets, with the members-only promo code. Before purchasing General Admission tickets, Members can contact the Deering Estate Foundation by email HERE to request the member discount promo code.\nTickets are non-refundable, rain or shine.\nIn recent years Deering has worked with outside ticketing platforms for events such as the “Moonlight and Music” Valentine’s Day concert. These platforms have fees on top of the ticket price. In 2020 Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces moved to a new ticketing platform, Park Link, which supports event ticketing, without those additional fees.  Like most ticketing platforms, you will need to create an account the first time. After creating your account, you will be able to purchase tickets and register for programs at Deering and other Miami-Dade County Parks. Additionally, a bar with wine sold by the bottle benefiting the Deering Estate Foundation will be onsite. Guests are also welcome to bring in small picnic baskets (20×20 or smaller).\nDELIGHT YOUR VALENTINE WITH A ROMANTIC PICNIC DINNER CATERED BY JOANNA’S MARKETPLACE: \nPre-ordered food from Joanna’s Marketplace will be available for pick up at the concert. Please do not park in front of our neighbor’s homes or on the side streets.\nDrop-off or ride share is available in the parking lot on the corner of 72 Ave. and 168 Street. Guests can then walk from there to the entrance gate on 72 Ave. There will be one way traffic only on 72 Ave., no U-turns.
