DESCRIPTION:On Sunday, August 9th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., join us for the next Conservation workshop “Plant Conservation in South Florida with Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.” Fairchild has been at the forefront of conservation in south Florida for decades helping safeguard rare species and providing management support for natural areas. As a botanist on Fairchild’s conservation team, Riki helps preserve managers identify plants, including “new” invasive species, map and monitor rare species, and provide updated management recommendations. Come learn about the plants, people, places and specific projects that make up the Fairchild conservation team!\nCOST:\n$5 per person.
